About ME

Ever since I was young, my father has worked as an automotive mechanic, and I would spend hours observing how he would diagnose vehicle problems, troubleshoot solutions, and make repairs. His detailed knowledge of how cars operate fueled my desire to learn how things work.

This initially led to my aspiration to become a mechanical engineer. In May 2022, I graduated from NC State with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in computer programming. My time at NC State has enabled me to gain technical knowledge and skills that have served to enhance my analytical problem-solving abilities. Experiences as an engineering intern, undergraduate researcher, and as a team member during capstone senior design have given me opportunities to learn and to demonstrate my capabilities through direct application both within a group and individually.

Because of my undergraduate experiences, I have come to value discovery, learning new phenomena, innovation, and creativity. As a result, I am seeking an entry-level engineering position that will allow me to contribute to developing innovations to help solve significant problems while gaining experience in my early career and a broader knowledge of industry. Within any position I may hold, I will bring a strong work ethic, integrity, encouragement, and enthusiasm.

Outside of academics, I enjoy creating visual art by making grayscale or color drawings. I have been asked by family members for drawings for their homes. I'm also constantly trying to improve my jump shot.
